GREENE — Don't miss this year's Greene Labor Day on Monday, September 5 at the Ball Flats in Greene. Picnic day activities start at 8 a.m. and include the hose fights, a 5k run, a rubber duck derby, children’s activities, musical guests, fireworks, and the famous chicken.
Raymond will join our community to celebrate our 100th anniversary with a special interactive experience in the Raymond tent that includes a walk through history, children’s activities, and a Raymond truck on display.
Special members from our founder’s family will also be there including grandson Steve Raymond, who was a former VP at Raymond and retired president of solutions and support center, Raymond Handling Concepts Corp. Also, Raymond’s reunited chorus, The Voices of Raymond — made up of past employees/members and current employees — will also give a special performance at 2 p.m. on the music stage.
More information on the Greene Labor Day picnic and a full list of the day's events can be found on the Greene Labor Day Picnic Facebook page.
