GREENE – On Thursday afternoon, it was Greene’s turn to play a tough Sidney team. Unfortunately, Greene struck out in a close 218-229 deficit. Greene had a great match from Parker Flanagan who chipped in a 39 and Lincoln Youngs with a 41, but its bottom half could not keep up with Sidney.

Anthony Thatcher finished with a 47 on the day for the Trojans with teammates Austin Dehaan (50) and Clayton Leonard (52) behind him. Sidney golfers’ scores ranged from 40-46 to achieve the win.

Greene goes back to work against Hancock with back-to-back matches scheduled September 15 and 16.
