GREENE – The Greene Trojans golf team picked up two wins in back-to-back matches against Hancock, improving to 6-2 on the season. In both matches, Parker Flanagan had remarkable outings. He knocked in an eagle and a birdie to card a 39 in the win on Thursday before finishing one-under-par with a 34 on Friday.

While his score on Friday led the match, teammate Anthony Thatcher finished with a 45 while Austin Dehaan and Clayton Leonard both shot a 46. Lincoln Youngs, sitting in the second position, chipped in a 47 on the day. Logan Westbrook was the top medalist for Hancock with a 46 as the rest of his team could not match Greene’s dominant scores.

Greene hosts Oxford this afternoon (Monday) with a tee-off set for 3:45 p.m.
