NEW YORK — Assemblyman Joseph Angelino (R, C, I - Nowich) is pleased to announce the launch of a $200 million Seed Fund Grant Program, which is targeted at helping small businesses recover after the COVID-19 pandemic. It provides grants to early-stage micro and small businesses impacted by the pandemic to help them grow.
Information and access to the application portal can be found at https://nyseedgrant.com.
“Opening a small business is hard and challenging work at any time, but it is especially difficult during a pandemic. For those newer small and micro businesses, there is a new $200 million Seed Fund Grant Program available through the state,” said Angelino. “I highly encourage these new businesses in my district to look into their eligibility and apply. If my office can be of any help, please call. I want to see our main streets thriving with the small businesses everyone loves.”
The program is in addition to the $800 million Pandemic Small Business Recovery Grant Program, which has helped more than 35,000 small businesses with roughly $639 million since it began last year.
Businesses may call 877-721-0097 for assistance from Empire State Development to learn about other COVID-19-related programs for which they may be eligible.
