Commerce Chenango hosts open house in celebration of Annual Chamber Day

CHENANGO COUNTY — “Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day” is observed annually on the third Wednesday in October. The Chamber of Commerce plays a leading role in economic and community development. From training and education programs, business planning, and business financing to providing regional demographic information, and relocation packages, we can provide the information you need to help retain, expand, or initiate business.

During the many decades of change since the inception of the Chenango County Chamber of Commerce in 1959, our commitment to the community has not changed, but has strengthened and grown with each year to meet the needs and challenges of our members, residents, and visitors.

63 years later, our Chamber is more than a non-profit organization; it is a business, dedicated to enhancing the quality and strength of our community. We recognize that adaptability, flexibility, and continuous improvement are required for any organization to endure the test of time. We are constantly seeking new ways to better meet the needs of our members and community in an ever-evolving business, economic, and legislative environment.
