CHENANGO COUNTY — The Chenango County Democratic Committee endorses the following candidates:

Josh Riley, a native of Endicott presently living in Ithaca, is running for Congress in the 19th District. A strong advocate for “Jobs and Justice,” Josh will fight to secure Social Security and Medicare now under attack by Republicans, to ensure a woman’s right to choose, to strengthen the middle class by creating high-tech and manufacturing jobs, to support our agricultural community, and to protect and defend our democracy.

In the 51st State Senate district, Eric Ball of Walton is our candidate. His commitments are to protecting reproductive rights, fighting for justice and equality, rebuilding our rural communities, protecting workers, and guaranteeing healthcare for every New Yorker.

Kathy Hochul and Antonio Delgado, as Governor and Lt. Governor, will continue the work of leading New York State with historic improvements in education, child care, healthcare, and affordable housing.

As Attorney General, Tish James has proven to be the lawyer for the people. She will continue investigating corruption and abuses of power, regardless of party or politics, while championing equity and fairness for all New Yorkers.

Tom DiNapoli, as Comptroller, has been a steady hand guiding New York State finances, keeping pension funds strong, rooting out fraud and corruption, demanding transparency and accountability in government spending, supporting unions and workers’ rights and holding big corporations accountable for their actions, while fighting to protect our environment and natural resources. His office focuses on one thing - what’s best for the people of New York.
