NORWICH – On Friday, Veterans Day, the Norwich VFW, along with members of the American Legion and City of Norwich officials, honored veterans with a ceremony in East Park. During the service memorial wreaths are saluted and placed by veterans or family or veterans.

Members of the Christy Rock Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2782 hosted the service at the time and date that mark the end of World War I, the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month in 1918. The day is now a memorial to honor all fallen veterans. (Photo by Tyler Murphy)
