BAINBRIDGE– On Tuesday, the Unadilla Valley Storm bowling team traveled to take on the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats, where both UV boys and girls teams earned victories.
For the boys, Will Rumovicz led the Storm with a 641 series, including a 231 game in the first game before closing things out with a 220 in the final game. Jacob Prentice also finished strong with a 236 in the final game to earn second on the team with a 622.
This win comes after they won the B-G tip-off tournament on Friday.
The Bobcats’ Ryan Larsen led all bowlers with a 664 series. He bowled three 200 games with a dominating 245 to cap the night.
In the girls’ matchup, UV earned the sweep against a short-handed team. Brynn Grant led all scorers with a 622 series with an impressive 234 in the first game. Kailee Figger finished second with a 554 series.
Catherine Fuller bowled a 607 series with a phenomenal 279 game to lead things off on a high note for the Bobcats.
