SIDNEY – On Monday, the Norwich Purple Tornado bowling teams hosted Windsor for a STAC league matchup. The boys achieved their third win of the season in a 5-0 sweep while the girls fell 5-0.
Dawson Robinson continues to impress as he led Norwich with a 601 series, including a 211 in the second game. Pat White (210) and Aleks Smietana (205) showed skill in the second game as well. Tyler Bates finished second in scoring with a 570 series.
Jake Marra led Windsor with a 507 series in the loss.
For the girls, Andie Mucha finished with a team-best 527 series and bowled a 215 in the final game. But, it did not hold up as Windsor’s Alexis Barton (572) and Skylar Thomas (606) led the team to victory. Aside from Mucha, Emily Flynn finished with a 429 series.
Norwich is eager to hit the lanes again this afternoon against Sus Valley at 3:40 p.m. This will be their final match until January 9.
