SHERBURNE – On Wednesday evening, the Sherburne-Earlville wrestling team hosted Morrisville-Eaton for their first home dual meet of the season. The Marauders came off two fresh wrestling meets under their belt to prepare them for the 42-36 victory over the Warriors.

Leading the pack continues to be Landon Andrade who picked up his 11th win of the season. The 285 pound Sophomore came out on top against Cale Marland with a pin at the 3:06 mark.

S-E’s Justin Race also picked up a win with a pin in 51 seconds against Lyden Priest.

While those were the two crucial wins for the Marauders, they also earned points with five forfeits.

S-E will have extra time to prepare for their next match against Cooperstown on January 11 at 6 p.m.
