BINGHAMTON –After suffering the loss to Greene, prior to winter break, the Bainbridge-Guilford boys basketball team have been back on track with wins against Oxford and most recently against Susquehanna Valley. The Bobcats won the non-league matchup against the Sabers 61-40. Sus Valley plays in the STAC league with another local team Norwich, so this Bobcats win could help the Purple Tornado if it comes down to it.

Together as a team, the Bobcats played very well and very hard. Paving the way for B-G was the dynamic playing styles of David Emerson, James Hogroian, and Ilias Wilson.

Emerson led the team with 23 points while Hogroian scored 17 and snagged 15 rebounds. Isaac Seiler finished with 12 points, including two three’s as Ilias Wilson contributed with five assists and four points in the win.

BG resumes league play on January 5 against Unadilla Valley at 7 p.m.
