NEW BERLIN – After facing some challenges in their own STAC league, the Norwich Purple Tornado were ready to face Greene, who has been consistent this season for the MAC. Norwich certainly came to play with a strong start to finish 70-35 victory. This was only Norwich’s second win of the season with more games to play.
Norwich brought their ability to knock down three-point shots to the contest, where they outdid themselves with 13. Four came from Jacob Morris, who finished with 12 points while Jerell Stokes and Steven Dowdall tied with 15 points and both knocked down three three’s. Mitchell Collins was fouled as he knocked down his three, while Carmello Ithier and Kaleb Turner also contributed in the mix.
The Greene Trojans surely missed starter Jaden Eroshevich in this game, but did the best they could. Liam Flanagan and Grayson Flanagan led the Trojans offense. Liam scored a team-high of eight points while Grayson knocked down two three’s late in the fourth to finish with six points in the loss.
