NEW BERLIN – The Unadilla Valley Storm bowling teams keep pushing along after winning the MAC League Holiday Tournament. Both the boys and girls dominated against Downsville on Tuesday afternoon. The boys won 2708-1125 while the girls excelled 2723-981.
The boys brought in some substitutions to give them playing time, while Blake Wright and Will Rumovicz bowled all three superior games. Wright finished on top with a 652 series, bowling all 201 plus games with a 239 in the final game. Will finished behind him with a 592.
For the girls, the starting five stayed put as Kailee Figger and Brynn Grant paved the way for the Storm. Figger led the team with a 620 series, including a 235 in the final game while Grant finished with a 602 series.
UV will be back on the lanes this Friday, January 6 at 3:45 p.m. against Afton-Harpursville.
