NORWICH - After an exciting overtime win against Windsor, Norwich was ready to close out the week against Chenango Valley. Unfortunately, they fell 44-28 with one more match left of a six consecutive game homestand.
Chenango Valley took control in the first and third quarters, but Norwich could not get anything going offensively late in the game to match the consistency. Josey Ryan scored 13 points with Cameron Van Houten behind her with 10 points. Olivia Schiraldi, who had been solid in the last few games, was shutout in the loss, as the Warriors knew to focus their strategy on keeping her contained.
Norwich is currently 4-8 on the season and will host Unatego in a non-league matchup on Wednesday at 7:15 p.m.
