Norwich Pee-Wee Compete In Local Tournaments

Norwich Pee-Wee compete in local tournaments The Norwich Pee-Wee Wrestlers. CHENANGO COUNTY – Over the weekend, the Norwich pee-wee wrestlers participated in two tournaments, where they came away with several awards.

On Saturday, January 14, 2023 12 Norwich Pee Wee Wrestlers competed in the Sus Valley Novice (0-2 years experience) Tournament.  They came away with three individual first places, four individual second places, two individual third places, and three individual fourth places.  There was no overall team championship offered.

On Sunday, January 15, most of the more experienced youth wrestlers competed in the Unatego Tournament.  Out of the 17 wrestlers who competed in the Unatego Tournament, 10 won individual first places. They also won the overall team championship.  

The coaches, wrestlers, and parents would like to thank the City of Norwich Youth Bureau for their continued support of this program.
