WALTON - After defeating GMU on January 16, the Bainbridge-Guilford Lady Bobcats have dropped the last two games, including Friday’s 50-40 loss to Walton. Despite the two losses, the Bobcats remain confident, sitting comfortably at 8-6 overall on the season.
Both B-G and Walton started out hot offensively with Walton taking a 27-25 lead at halftime. Walton rolled out for the second half strong, outscoring the Bobcats 23-15 in the final 16 minutes of play. Walton also knocked down eight three-pointers to take advantage of B-G.
Jayslin Henderson and Johnna Henderson led B-G with 16 points each while Celeste Baldwin was held to only seven points in the loss.
B-G has some time to prepare and regain confidence as they take on Unadilla Valley on Wednesday, February 1 at 7 p.m. The Bobcats defeated the Storm 46-29 in the previous matchup on December 21.
