DOWNSVILLE – The Unadilla Valley Storm bowling team continues to strive this season with the girls team remaining undefeated since 2021-2022. The boys team remain strong in first place and have lost 2.5 matches. Success that has found the program for many seasons under Coach Matt Bleyle.
They continued to roll on through with a victory over Downsville on Tuesday evening. Downsville only had three bowlers against the Storm in both respective matches.
Nate Rumovicz took the high series for UV in this match with a 639, including a 222 in the first with a 234 in the final game. Jacob Prentice finished behind him with a 582, bowling a 221 in the second game. Owen Hill bowled a 221 in the first to finish with a 576 series.
Phalen Hill led the girls to victory with a 581 series, including a 241 in the final game. Brynn Grant finished second with a 560 series as Pyper Kneale bowled a 232 in the first game to finish with a 551.
UV heads to Afton (Afton/Harpursville) on Monday, January 30 at 3:45 p.m.
