OXFORD - On Friday, the Oxford Blackhawks boys basketball team hosted Otselic Valley for a Section III-Section IV matchup. Otselic Valley took control throughout the majority of the contest to win 55-43.

OV played with the same consistency in the second half, offensively producing after being tough on defense. They also earned free-throws as Oxford could not defend Braeden Davis cleanly.
Braeden posted an all scorers high of 30 points, making eight-of-12 free-throws. Owen Davis finished with nine points and had two steals.
Oxford’s John Rovente led the offense with 17 points as teammates Donovan Rickard and Caden Rifanburg each had nine points.
