BAINBRIDGE – After falling to Unadilla Valley on January 17, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats have been consistent in their last few match-ups. The Boys have won four straight, including Tuesday’s dominant 3144-841 win over Downsville. The girls have been fighting all season, even though it has been challenging. However, they were able to sweep Downsville with a total score of 1396-960 as the two female teams were evenly matched.
For the B-G boys, Collin Dicks led all scorers with a 695 high series and bowled all 214 or better games, including a 258 in the first. Joey Doyle bowled a 244 and Konnor Schmidt had a 236 in the first game to take their highest score of the night (1119).
Dicks is third on the MAC averages list with a 211 in 27 games bowled and improves his high game with the new best 258 that should put him in the top 10 of the MAC. He also improves his high series from a 693 to a 695, where he is still fourth.
Catherine Fuller led the Lady Bobcats with a 624 high series and bowled a 206 in the second game with a 235 in the final. Sophie Gold (314) and Railey Odell (458) also bowled great scores to secure the victory. Fuller is third on the MAC girls average’s list with a 192.1 in 30 games.
