NORWICH — The City of Norwich Youth Bureau has partnered with Rita's Tavern and the Colonia Theater again this year to provide a free movie to local youth. The organization will be showing "Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank" at 2 p.m. at the Colonia Theater on Monday, February 20.

"Paws of Fury" follows the story of Hank, a hound dog who finds himself training to become a samurai to protect a town of cats from an evil villain who's trying to wipe them off the map.

Tickets are completely free and available starting today at the City Offices, located at 1 City Plaza in Norwich, during normal business hours.

The Colonia Theater concession stand will be open and selling refreshments before the show. Children under 16 years old should be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets to a free President's Day weekend movie are given out by the Youth Bureau each year, and the event is made possible by Rita's Tavern, who hosts the Witching Good Time fundraiser to benefit the Norwich Youth Bureau every October.

"They make a nice donation every year to the Youth Bureau," said City of Norwich Youth Bureau Director Anthony Testani.

"Hopefully we have a good turnout again," he added. "[Last year] we gave out 200 tickets, and we had about 175 that showed up that day."
