GILBERTSVILLE – Volunteer Gilbertsville Fire Department has announced annual election results and department activity.
The department recently submitted their annual reports and held annual elections. The fire department responded to a total of 28 tone calls in 2022 and department members logged a total of 1055 work-hours. The calls consisted of fires, mva’s, trees down, and mutual aid.
Department election results are as follows: Chief, David Robinson; 1st Assistant Chief, Chris Orals; 2nd Assistant Chief, Mike Tiffany; Captain, Dan Bachman; 1st Lieutenant, Brian DeGroat; President, John Mason; Vice President, Dave Haynes; Treasurer, Scot Lueck; Secretary, Dawn Wheeler; Captain of Fire Police, Don Osborne; Chaplain, Reverend Randy Palada. Board of Trustees: Jim Pochy, Jim VanDusen, Joe Stockdale, Joel Perkosky and Ken Held.
Emergency Squad captain Steve Gayle reports that the squad responded to 135 calls in 2022 with a total of over 400 work-hours and 3625 miles.
The Gilbertsville Fire Department would like to thank the community for another year of record-breaking donations from district residents. These donations are extremely beneficial to assist with maintenance and upgrades of our equipment.
