Locally grown and produced food and more at Oxford Farmers’ Market

OXFORD – This Saturday, home-made soups and yeasted rolls (to eat in or to take away) will be on offer, as well as music by composer George Anderson. Shop the Oxford Winter Farmers’ Market this Saturday,10 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the United Church of Oxford, 16 Fort Hill Park.

Enter on Merchant Street, across from the Middle School parking lot, where there is plenty of parking. At the Oxford Winter Farmers’ Market, you will find great, locally-grown and produced food even in the depths of winter. Great local produce, including greens and mushrooms, delicious local milk and cheeses, grains and flours grown and milled by your neighbors, a wide selection of beef and lamb (with pork and chicken available through their Online Marketplace), and many artisan baked goods, bagels, English muffins, scones and cookies.

You’ll also find lovingly hand-made soaps, salves, balms and items for the kitchen and home.
