Wednesday Night Spring Fling Dinner From The Oxford Legion Auxiliary

OXFORD – Spring has sprung, and the American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) of Fort Hill Post #376 is offering a delicious Spring Fling dinner of chicken marsala. The dinner date is Wednesday, March 22, from 4 to 6 p.m.; dine-in or take-out.

Community members are invited to have a delicious, home-cooked meal and support the educational and charitable mission of the American Legion Auxiliary.

The Spring Fling menu is chicken marsala, a dish of chicken breast cutlets and mushrooms in a flavorful wine reduction sauce, served with green beans, roll and butter, roasted potatoes, and dessert. Relax this Wednesday, you can dine-in or take-out for $10 per person.

The Oxford ALA organizes fundraisers like this one to benefit child literacy and education, youth activities such as the Empire Girls' State program, their own ALA Scholarship, Memorial Poppy promotion and distribution to help veterans and their families, community gift “baskets," the Volunteer Services of the NYS Veterans' Home at Oxford, and much more. It is all accomplished with volunteers to sustain the ALA’s mission of service!
