Social Media post from Jeanna G visiting from Paramus, NJ said, “I really, really, really love coming to the Frog Pond Farms. This place is like a little slice of heaven for anyone that enjoys a good farmers market filled with fresh produce and plants.
“My brother finally took me here after years of telling me about how cool this place was and I couldn't agree more. We started off with some fresh donuts from the little cart and boy were those delish. I ordered a glazed and my friend got the sugared and we split, so we got the best of both worlds,” Jeanna added. “I love me a good petting zoo as well and the Frog Pond was checking all the boxes on my list. There were goats, ducks, chickens, a baby cow and some really large pigs and they all looked really happy and healthy.”
Jeanna also said the produce section had such amazingly fresh fruits and veggies everywhere and at really good prices and she ended up with some fresh apples to make a crisp, an acorn squash for her friend because she loves them, delicious cheese curds and a whole bunch of other fruits and veggies. The plant section is so reasonably priced too so she purchased a beautiful plant of sunflowers for only $5.
She added,“The Frog Pond is a spot that you easily can spend the afternoon and not even realize you have been there that long. There is just so much to do and look at and explore. I like that they have a huge section filled with cracked corn for kids to play around in and keep busy.”
“I can't wait to come back and see what they have to offer up for fall,” she said
This weekend from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m, S&S Food Truck will be serving breakfast meals consisting of one egg, two pancakes, choices of bacon ham or sausage and a serving of real maple syrup until 11 a.m. and then switching to their lunch menu adding a single or double smash burger with cheese and bacon to the menu.
