ONEONTA – Back by popular demand one upstate New York venue is ready to entertain guests with another live music performance that’s planned to make you want to dance and sing from your seat.
Taking center stage April 28 at 8 pm, (doors open at 7) at The Foothills Performing Arts Center will be The Eagles Experience, a full live band performance. Noted as being one of the most authentic Eagles Tribute bands out there today, the band not only covers original Eagles songs from the 1970’s but each member of the band coordinates with their original Eagles protégé in both instrumental and singing capabilities.
Band member Steve Kareta says, “to me the most important part of our show is that it is 100 percent live,” this means the band does not use pre-recorded backing tracks. “This is a solid band,” he added. “We have five guys, and we all take active roles in performing live, both instrumentally and vocally, including the five-part harmonies.”
This live performance will include songs only written and recorded by the Eagles as a band including fan favorites and greatest hits. Foothills Performing Arts Center Executive Director Geoff Doyle says the band has always gotten rave reviews and it has been a few years since the band performed at the venue. “We are so excited to have them back,” he said. “This show is always well attended.”
Standing out among other cover bands the Eagles Experience has proven their abilities time and time again. Most recently the band were the headliner at the 2021 STANDIN’ ON THE CORNER” Festival in Winslow, Arizona, where they performed with American Idol winner Jake Hoot.
Event Coordinator, owner of Millennia Entertainment Terry Potter said he is looking forward to the event,” we are thrilled to have the Eagles Experience back in Oneonta at Foothills. He says, he as well as the venue, appreciate the support they received from five-star Subaru in order to bring the eagles experience back to foothills to perform, “we are really looking forward to it.”
Tickets are $20, are on sale now, and it is encouraged to get tickets soon as they are likely to sell out. “The last two events at Foothills were full houses,” said Potter.
