SMYRNA — Smyrna Citizens Band concerts will begin on Monday, July 10 at 7 p.m. on their Bandstand above the Library in the Village.

The concert season will continue each Monday evening through August 14. The theme instrument of this first concert will be the trumpet, with a different instrument as the theme of each concert thereafter.

Selections to be performed will include: Washington Post march, Salute To America, Mambo Band, Salvation Is Created, Overland (Smyrna Citizen's Band March), Malaguena, The Magic Trumpet, Armed Forces on Parade, Selections From Chicago, Fiesta, Good Ol' Days Sing-A-Long, Selections from Encanto, and ending with Stars And Stripes.

Bring along your chair or sit in your vehicle and enjoy the music.

The usual varieties of pies will be available for purchase from the ladies of the Methodist Church.
