NEW BERLIN - After getting back into action on June 21, the South New Berlin Horseshoe Club has been able to host several games. The make-up has moved a lot of teams around throughout the standings.Stafford Builders (Al Bush and Al Patten) moved from seventh place to take the top spot away from Carey’s AG Spreader Service (Darla Smith and Sheryl Thurston), who now sit in third. Rustic Ridge’s Dale Lund and Ron Anderson remain in the second spot while Roger’s Best Value Tire & Auto and Prolifiq Sign Studio round out the top five.

Dale Lund and Kate Lloyd swept both the men’s and women’s leaderboard. Lund tied with Al Patten in the men’s high singles as both scored an 87 with Tim Lidell in third with a 75. Lund won the high series fair and square as he had a 239 to Patten’s 233 and Ron Anderson’s 197.

Lloyd had the highest score of a 76 over Cindy Miller’s 68 and Sheryl Thurston’s 48 for the women’s high singles and took the high series with a 227.

Lund and Anderson’s Rustic Ridge also won both the team singles and team series. They scored a 149 over Stafford Builders and Fun Lovers’ 140 in the high singles while putting up a 436 high series. Fun Lovers (high singles) and Stafford Builders (high series) were atop of the handicap leaderboards.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club meets every Wednesday night.
