NORWICH — Nikstock's 38th annual party will open at 10 a.m. on July 21 at the Chenango County Fairgrounds, 168 Main Street in Norwich. The party continues through the 22nd.

Nick Fuoco, Hollywood artist, musician and founding father of Nikstock, presents the return of Nikstock after four years.

Fuoco said it will be the biggest one ever, with 40 bands and two stages featuring two days of music, 100 kegs, dancing, bikini contests, raves and overnight camping.

“It's not just a party; it's an adventure,” he added.

Celebrity host and MC Ivonna Cadaver, from the TV series Macabre Theater, will be there to introduce Hollywood Gogo star dancers. Nightmare (Alice Cooper Tribute) will tear up the stage, and at midnight of both nights, Insomnia will provide an indoor high energy dance.

Nikstock gives local bands a chance to play on a big stage, in front of a lot of people with at least one pro act to set the example of professionalism for other bands to learn from. There are no rules to what kind of music, and bands come from all over the country to show what they have. The exposure brings new fans, an opportunity to sell CD’s, and to meet people.

“At first glance, we seem like a crowd of social misfits. But don't be misled; we're the kind of people who live life to the fullest. We love to be around other people and work hard and play hard,” said Fuoco.

Featured musicians include: Tempter, Nightmare (The Alice Cooper Tribute), Smite, Devlin White Lands, Slikk Wikked, A-1 Alpha, Ebb-N-Flow, Mojo Son, Hunter, Locklin Dodge Inc, Good Times Rebels, Du Hast, DJ Unholy, Mutt Farm, Breaking the Law, Dirty Dawgz, Poetry in Black, The Buzzz, Human Powered Aggression, Kreature, 315Cash, Sand Street, Influenza, and many more.
