NEW BERLIN — The New Berlin Library will host a children's art program series three weeks this summer. The New Berlin Art Forum is sponsoring the program and it will be held in the New Berlin Library Community Room.
The children's art program series will be held from July 31 through August 17, Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. until noon. The program is free to the public and the series is open to children of any age. It is required that children under five be accompanied by an adult.
The program is focusing on arts and crafts. There will be a different activity each day. The first week, July 31 to August 3, will be air dry clay monster; water color cat paintings; foam monster feet; and painting the clay monsters.
The second week, August 7-10, will be tube snakes; worm puppets; rainbow yarn clouds; and flower painting.
The third week, August 14-17, will be tube dragons; dandelion paintings; water color cat; flying fish; and tape paintings.

The 2023 Summer Reading Program has begun at the New Berlin Library and will run throughout the months of July and August. The theme this year is "All Together Now." Children 12 and younger are invited to pick up reading logs and participate to win milestone prizes and grand prize entries.
Some great new additions to the library include: Circle of Death (The Shadow Killer) by James Patterson and Brian Sitts, Avatar the Way of Water DVD, and The Super Mario Bros DVD.
The New Berlin Library is located at 15 South Main Street, New Berlin. The Library is open Monday and Wednesday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturdays 10 a.m. to noon.
