NORWICH – The SUNY Morrisville Norwich campus will host a community open house Tuesday aimed at attracting potential students and boosting enrollment for the fall semester.
Organizers will use the occasion to spotlight the college’s programming and local resources through a series of college readiness presentations, student tours, wellness seminars, and emphasizing the available services located on campus. Joe’s Food Shack food truck and music by Eddie and Bird Dog will also be on site.
The event will be held from 1-5 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, at Follet Hall located on 20 Conkey Ave. in Norwich.
The college is planning more than a dozen community tables featuring a number of Morrisville’s Norwich affiliates at the event, including the Norwich Family YMCA, CDO Workforce Career Center, Catholic Charities, Liberty Resources, UHS Hospital, and Southern Tier Connect, among others. The Morrisville Norwich campus maintains partnerships with local agencies to broaden internship opportunities for students and offer more programming choices.
