NORWICH – An act of rebranding means a fresh start, a clean slate. That is exactly what Dana Gross, general manager at the Red Roof Inn on North Broad Street, is overseeing.
On Tuesday, June 27th, Commerce Chenango held a Business After Hours event at the Red Roof Inn, formerly known as Howard Johnson’s. The event was a huge success in Dana Gross’ eyes, as it served as an open house for her to show off the work that had been done at the hotel. She has worked there for 18 years and has been general manager for 17 of them. She has managed many moving parts in the renaissance of this hotel but was not alone in making these changes.
The reinvestment at the Red Roof is a new future but the business has been a Norwich resident since 1987. Gross said she understands the perks of being in what she called a “Great little community.”
