HAMILTON – The Special Eastern Nationals classic car show will be held on Saturday at the beautiful grounds of White Eagle Conference Center in Hamilton.

The show opens at 9 a.m. and is sponsored by The Rolling Antiquers Old Car Club, of Norwich, and supported by the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA ).

The event is free to the public and will display about 150 vintage automobiles. Some of the name plates visitors can expect to see include Bentley, Cord, Pierce Arrow and Packard.

The owners of these automobiles will be treated to a tour of The Northeast Classic Museum in Norwich. They will also visit Cooperstown and spend an evening at the Good Nature Brewery. The Hamilton Brewery created a special beer brewed and labeled specifically for the RAOCC.

This one-time event is a result of well over a year’s work by RAOCC to bring this event to the local area. The show is open all day and free to the public on Saturday, July 29.

For more information visit the RAOCC online at raocc.org, or the AACA, at aaca.org; or call 607-316-1957 or 607-244-7026.

The Rolling Antiquers Old Car Club began in Norwich in 1965 as the Chenango Model A’ers. Over time the club has changed its focus and its annual shows have included thousands of antiques, classic and collector cars displayed for your viewing enjoyment. In 1972 the club changed its name to the Rolling Antiquers Old Car Club.

The club has been active in the Norwich area since its inception and is a small car club with a membership roster of around 40 people. The club meets monthly at the Northeast Class Car Museum in Norwich.

In addition to hosting one of New York State’s largest car shows, they participate in a number of activities each year and attend car shows in and out of state on club sponsored trips.

The RAOCC’s major event, of course, is the Car Show and Flea Market held annually on Memorial Day weekend.
