NORWICH – With a new location and flared potential to improve services for seniors in the Norwich area, the Chenango County Area Agency on Aging is getting ready to open the doors of its Norwich site.
Agency employees moved boxes and bins into the new location Wednesday. Though not far from its previous spot, the agency says its new home at the American Legion Post 189 on Sheldon Street allows for fresh opportunities while keeping the same old mission: help the area’s aging population stay independent, secure, and active.
“We’re excited about a collaboration with the American Legion,” said Chenango Area Agency on Aging Director Heather Felter. “They’re very interested in our older adult population and helping us meet their needs. It’s going to be a great adventure for us.”
