NEW BERLIN - Dale Lund and Ron Anderson of Rustic Ridge are still hanging on to a half game lead in the South New Berlin Horseshoe Club. The pair have held this lead for the past several weeks. Stafford Builders (Al Bush/Al Patten), remain in the second spot with a 33-15 record with Roger’s Best Value Tire & Auto (Cindy and Joe Miller) moving up to third while staying amongst the top five all season. Potter’s Tires and Carpet Protectors round out the week of July 26’s top five teams.

Lund and Anderson’s Rustic Ridge swept the team leaderboards once again while Lund also took both men’s high singles and high series. Lund’s highest game was a 91 over Lee Coon’s 84 and Bob Wells’ 81. Lund’s high series was a 239 over Coon’s 229 and Wells’ 218.

Rustic Ridge finished atop the team singles with a high game of 159 and also achieved a high of 432 to take the series victory.

For the team handicap leaderboards, Webster Paving earned both the high singles and team series victories. Ed Webster and Bob Wells had a high game of 231 over Kelly’s Flowers (221) and Fun Lovers (213). Webster and Wells took the high series with a 639.

The women’s leaderboards were shaken up again as Cindy Miller, Lisa Rowlands, and Darla Smith were the top three of the week. Miller swept the boards with a high singles game of a 66 over Rowlands’ 34 and Smith’s 19. Miller also had a high series of a 166.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club meets every Wednesday night, where teams are still battling late in the season.
