NORWICH — Last Saturday, Curtis Lumber hosted their annual contractors family appreciation day from noon to 4 p.m. at The Point at Lake Moraine.
Live music, steamed clams, clam chowder, shrimp, barbecue chicken, hamburgers, hotdogs and sides were served up, along with bubbly beverages for all ages. Curtis Lumber logo t-shirts were given away and free raffle drawings took place every fifteen minutes.
Giveaways included a $50 gift certificate to Curtis Lumber, a De-walt saw blade, an Anderson fan window and much more.
Norwich Curtis Lumber Manager Bob Moore and his wife Becka greeted many contractors and their families after they entered through the sign up tent.
Moore said, “Curtis Lumber is a great company that takes care of not only their employees and their contractors but we all work together to make the community a better to place to live in.”
