AFTON – On August 16, New York State Police arrested Dustin L. Dungey, age 22 of Afton, NY.  

He’s been charged with predatory sexual assault against a child (A-2felony), criminal sex act in the first degree (B felony), Sexual abuse in the first degree (D felony) and resisting arrest (a misdemeanor)

Police reported the arrests stemmed from an investigation that began earlier this month and the investigation revealed that Dungey had a inappropriate sexual contact with a child under the age of 13 in June.  

 

Dungey was arrested at his residence and processed at the Sidney police station. He was transported to the Chenango County Central Arraignment and Processing where he was remanded to the jail on $100,000 cash, $200,000 bond or $500,000 secure bond.
