NORWICH – The 29th annual Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 9 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 10 in Norwich’s East and West Parks.

There will be 107 juried artists presenting, live music and plenty of food to please any palate.

Downtown Norwich transforms into one of the best arts and craft shows in America and according to Sunshine Artist magazine it is ranked as one of the most profitable art and craft festivals in 2022.

Board President Laura Parker said, “We're so excited to announce that Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival ranked number 25 in the Fine Art and Design Show category.”

Festival Visual Arts Coordinator Peggy Finnegan chose three new artists to shine the spotlight on for 2023. She said the first is Rachel C. Pottery, found in booth 30 in East Park. Rachel is from Appalachian and paints whimsical watercolors and incorporates them to her pottery.

The second featured artist is Dale Bowers Art, in booth 19 in East Park. Dale is from Cazenovia and new this year. His work includes pebble art, spalted maple cutting boards, geometric wood art, and barbed wire art.
