NORWICH — The NY Hot Farm Pulling Series ( NYHFPS) tractor and truck pull has been rescheduled for September 9 at the Chenango County Fairgrounds. The initial pull date was scheduled for July 4 but was cancelled due to weather.
Gates open at 4 p.m. with tractor pulls starting at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $10 and previously purchased tickets will be honored.
In memory of 911, all first responders will be granted free admission with valid identification.
Event Coordinator Terry Potter said, “The NY Hot Farm Pulling Series is becoming a well known pulling club not only known in New York State but throughout the region. We are fortunate to have them coming to the Chenango County Fairgrounds.”
According to the NYHFPS web page they are all about smoke, dirt, horsepower, and family oriented fun.

8,000 lbs 6mph Farm Stock
10,500 lbs 8mph Farm Stock
14,200 lbs 8mph Farm Stock
6,700 lbs Light Hot Farm
Light Limited Super Stocks
10,500 lbs 466 Hot Farm
9,500 lbs Limited Hot Farm
3.0 Diesel Trucks
During the pulls there will also be food and craft vendors and a family fun activity zone. Music will be played throughout the day courtesy of Millennia Entertainment.
“We're expecting a great turn out and the weather is looking good. We're excited that the 3.0 diesel truck pulls and all weight classes. Prizes will be given out to winning pullers,” said Potter.
