SIDNEY – After some unfair weather conditions last week, the Greene Trojans made up their game against Sidney on Tuesday evening. Greene led 6-0 before the game was postponed. Greene held on to that lead and won 9-2.

Greene’s Kloden Rapp led the team with four goals and one assist in only the team’s third game of the season. Jon Westcott, who scored the lone goal against Afton/Harpursville, added on to his total with two goals and led the team with three assists.

Jonah Browning, Jacob Acevedo, and Alex Boel also scored one goal each. It was Acevedo’s first varsity goal. Kenny Baucas also added an assist in the win.

Braeden Goerlich and Eli Sepulveda-Kiefer split time in goal for the Trojans. Braeden made three saves while Eli made one.

Greene hosts their annual soccer tournament this Thursday and Saturday. Greene will face UV/GMU on Thursday at 7 p.m.
