LITTLE FALLS – After many close games that didn’t go in their favor, the Sherburne-Earlville Marauders boys soccer team kept their heads held high on the road against Little Falls. The Marauders earned their first win of the season 1-0 as they pushed through offensively.
S-E’s Jacob Dean netted his second goal of the season, that proved to be enough, off a cross pass from Owen Brown. S-E took a 1-0 at halftime and held their own in the second half to earn the victory.
Goalkeeper Avery Parsons made four saves in the shutout win.
S-E (1-4) was proud to see everything fall in to place for them and only look to do the same against Canastota on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
