NORWICH – The spirit was alive at this month’s Helping Hands giveaway as the Norwich High School Cheerleaders volunteered this past Thursday. The girls supported the Norwich YMCA and Helping Hands mission of giving back to the community as they helped hand out supplies.

This month’s giveaway served 196 people with the help of various local businesses, donors, and volunteers.

The next Helping Hands giveaway will be on October 19 and continues to be held every third Thursday of the month.
