ONEONTA – The Norwich Purple Tornado golf team continues to roll on with their undefeated season as they defeated Oneonta 224-246 on Tuesday. Norwich swept the STAC series as they earned the first win 240-253 at the start of the season.

The Purple Tornado were led by Jacob Morris, who shot an all-around low of 39 on the par-36 course. Jacob Dowdall pushed through behind his teammate with a 43 as Braden Reid followed with a 44. Julien Smith shot a 46 while Matthew Brunick capped off the team scoring with a 52.

Oneonta’s scores ranged from a low of 46 to a high of 55.

Norwich (7-0) is up for the challenge against a tough Union-Endicott team this afternoon at 4 p.m. from Enjoie Golf Course.
