GREENE – Right off playing the Bulldogs on the road, the Greene Trojans golf team welcomed Delhi to the Genny golf course on Thursday. Greene picked up their ninth win of the season and swept the series with a 211-264 victory.

The Trojans top six golfers finished strong with Lincoln Youngs finishing out front with a 39 with Parker Flanagan and Trent Drew tying with a 42. Noah Symons stepped up into the fourth position with a 43 as Austin Dehaan followed with a 45. Hunter Becker also received playing time in the win.

Delhi’s scores ranged from a low 47 to a high of 60.

Greene (9-1) pushed ahead of Sidney in the MAC standings by one match, who the Trojans are up against next. The match is expected to be played this afternoon at 3:45 p.m. in Sidney. No matter the outcome, it should be a close match between these two powerhouses.
