SIDNEY – The Greene Trojans golf team knew that Friday’s match against a tough Sidney team would be a close one. After falling short at the start of the season to the Wildcats, Greene pushed through with a 231-235 victory when it mattered most.
Greene is solely in first place in the MAC with possibly two matches left on the regular schedule. With Sidney at 8-3 and Greene at 10-1, the MAC league will be reigned by the Trojans this year.

Sidney’s scores ranged from a low of 41 to a high of 54.
