Girls Soccer: OV On A Roll, Defeats Manlius-Pebble Hill

SYRACUSE – The Otselic Valley Vikings girls soccer team traveled to Manlius-Pebble Hill on Monday afternoon. The Vikings, coming off a big win over DeRuyter, picked up their sixth win of the season with a 3-1 victory.

Freshman Makayla Mills led the Vikings with one goal and one assist while Rachel Loomis and Susannah Lyon also scored. Skyler Graham provided an assist as well.

Goalkeeper Carlie Golden made a season-high 10 saves in the win. The junior has made 31 saves through 10 games played.

OV improves to 6-3-1 on the season and is ranked sixth in Section III, Class D. The Vikings travel to Sherburne-Earlville on Friday at 4:30 p.m. OV won the first match-up 6-1.

Boys Soccer:

Afton/Harpursville ties with Unatego/Franklin 1-1. Equan Patterson scored the lone goal for the Crimson Knights. Patterson now has 17 goals on the season.

Bainbridge-Guilford defeats UV/GMU 2-1. Corbin Germund adds on to his goal total with one goal while Brock Porter scores one and assisted on Germund’s goal. Germund now has six goals on the season. Trevor Smith scored the lone goal for the Storm off a pass from Devon Hartwell. Goalkeeper Tucker Cattanach made 21 saves in the loss.

Golf:

Greene finishes 2023 regular season with a 238-254 win over Deposit/Hancock Parker Flanagan shot a low of 41 for the Trojans. Greene heads to the MAC tournament with a 11-1 record.

Bainbridge-Guilford golf defeats Delhi 241-274. Easton Porter led the Bobcats with a low of 39.
