NORWICH — Join in on fun and education, including a plethora of interactions and activities from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. October 7 in the Museum District on Rexford Street and hosted by Friends of the Museum District.
As a part of Museums and More Day, CCHS will host special programming including festivities and interactive demonstrations with a black-smith and historic artisans, the Chenago Canal Association and David Moyer of Birchwood Archaeology. The day also features special event station with the Chenango Valley Amateur Radio Association, family actives with Chenango County 4-H, and an industrial heritage exhibit opening, “The Raymond Corporation, A Century of Innovation.”
Friends of the Museum District Coordinator John Antonowicz said, “This is a chance to showcase all the museums and what they have to offer to the community.”
