NORWICH – The Norwich Purple Tornado golf team celebrated its 2023 golf season with a banquet at the Canasawacta County Club. The Purple Tornado had a memorable season with becoming repeat STAC East Divisional champions and won the 2023 Section IV, Class B title. At the banquet, awards were handed out after tremendous efforts were shown this season.

Congratulations to Jacob Dowdall on receiving the 2023 Coaches award, Jacob Morris stood out as the team’s MVP for 2023, and senior Jackson Sastri showed the most improvement on the talented team. Dowdall, Morris, and Sastri are pictured with their awards, along with coach Dave Branham.
