JORDAN - After defeating Jordan-Elbridge in the semi-finals, the Sherburne-Earlville Marauders put their 2023 season in the books as they played a rematch against Southern Hills for the Section III, C2/D2 championship game.

S-E defeated the Storm 36-24 in their match-up in mid-September. However, Saturday’s game proved to be a different outcome.

The game was held on the turf at Jordan-Elbridge high school, where the local S-E fans and cheerleaders made the trip to support the team that had a lot to celebrate this year. Unfortunately, S-E fell 20-8 to a much different Southern Hills team that they witnessed on their home field a month before.
