Girls Basketball: S-E Tops Waterville

WATERVILLE - Coming off a wild game against Mount Markham, the Sherburne-Earlville Lady Marauders hit the road to face Waterville on Friday, coming away with a big 52-25 victory. With two players in double digits and the team playing tremendous defense, it was stellar performance all around for S-E.

Senior Chesnee Miller led S-E with 20 points, including two three-pointers and added six rebounds and three steals. Coming off a big 19 point game against Mount Markham, Alex Grzymkowski settled in with 11 points in Friday's win and had five steals. Hannah Todd-Rogers added eight points and five rebounds as Alyse Brown and Kendall Hill tied for most rebounds in the game with eight. Claire Barth had a team-high six assists in the victory.

S-E (2-0) hosts Vernon-Verona Sherrill on Wednesday at 7 p.m. before hosting their annual tip-off tournament on Friday and Saturday.
