NORWICH - The Mid-York Concert Band is inviting you to its annual holiday performance with Director Maestro Doug Ernst.

Kicked off by the Star-Spangled Banner, selections in part, will include Carol of the Bells based on a recording of the piece made by Mannheim Steamroller.

Good Swing Wenceslas: This is a jazz arrangement for Big Band of the popular carol.

Home Alone Selections by John Williams. The kids will love this arrangement from the popular movie!

Radetzky March by Johann Strauss. It is a tradition for an audience to clap along to this performance to help bring in the New Year.

Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson. A joyful winter tradition!

In addition to these pieces and others, there will be a Hanukkah number and a Christmas Sing-along. You will treasure show made up of 40 musicians who are teachers, professionals, and dedicated amateurs from many of our surrounding counties, all for just a free will offering at the door.

Presented from the Norwich High School Auditorium, doors will open at 1:30 PM and the concert will start at 2 p.m. on Sunday Dec 10. This ensemble is made possible with funds from the R. C. Smith Foundation.
